Topic: People should not text while driving (Persuasive Speech)
(For this speech you will persuade your followers to engage in immediate action. Your topic must revolve around some form of Social Justice, or Civic Engagement.)

• Please write a speech outline for the topic following the requirement.

1. A minimum of 5 different sources (three of which must be scholarly), sources must not be more than be more than 10 years old.
2. No Wikipedia sources allowed.
3. Clear main points, and clear transitions.
4. The outline must include a properly formatted bibliography detailing all sources cited APA style.

• Write a speech note based on the outline

1. Please write a speech not. (6-8 minutes)
2. The speech note must be included the main point and sources.
3. Using Monroe’s Motivated Sequence to organize the speech.
   • Monroe’s Motivated Sequence: Attention, Need, Satisfaction, Visualization, Action.
4. You will need to poll your audience to help you develop your speech.
5. The sources should not be said all at once, but separately.
6. Create one PowerPoint for the speech note.
