Choose one of the following “issues” raised in Chapter 16 that is related to globalization: structural violence as it relates to hunger and malnutrition, global warming, economic “hard power,” or mass migration across borders, and discuss how knowing something about anthropology can and should influence your thinking about this issue.

Your total should be 500-750 words (2-3 pages double-spaced). Remember, this is replacing part of an exam grade, so it should be given adequate time and attention, not hurriedly dashed off five minutes before the deadline. 🙂
